Difference between Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus
( VESDA) and simple Ordinary Smoke Detector System In very basic and easy words for knowledge purpose Ordinary Smoke detectors work on airflow system while we still need smoke detection when air is still that's what ordinary smoke detector cannot do it cannot even catch smoke of children playing with a matchstick in the room But Vesda can do.
Vesda is (Very Early-stage smoke detection apparatus ) mostly suitable for high rise buildings roofs or ceilings for which ordination smoke detectors cannot do their function to this height and in still air also. Vesda can also work in a high airflow environment.
Ordinary Smoke Detector needs at the exact point smoke to be detected while Vesda will detect automatically any change within the environment.
It can work on different principles and in moderate range and applications and environment but its primary function is to check quality and testing of continuous air sampling.
